Why JDRF? For the Alder Family, it’s Personal

Why JDRF?
It’s Personal

AB Motorsports actively supports the mission of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) by donating 10% of all sponsorship dollars.

Why? Because Jason’s big sister, Jessica, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when she was just 2½ years old. Diabetes is a major part of the Alder family. Their hope is that one day there will be a cure for Jessica.

Knowing the amazing research that JDRF finances, Jason’s parents chose to store his umbilical cord blood in the hopes that it can be used one day to cure his sister. His name — Jason — was chosen because it means “healer.” … If his cord blood isn’t the key to a cure for this sister, his sponsorship revenue will certainly help to fund the researchers that are working so hard to heal her.

To donate directly to JDRF, go to www.jdrf.org and make a general donation, or a tribute donation in Jessica Alder’s name.
