Baltimore, MD, June 21, 2022 – After a race winning weekend for Jason Alder at Road America, the TJ Speed driver is looking to continue his winning ways this weekend in Ohio. Set to battle the field of competitors in the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, Alder will pilot the #77 Drive for Diabetes Awareness entry at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

“I am ready,” expressed Alder. “With a win and two podiums at Road America, I am anxious and excited to get back on track and continue the success. I have the team behind me, the equipment under me and the determination in me to stand atop the podium.”

Sitting third in the FR Americas championship points table, Alder has earned one win, three podium result, and scored points in five of six races this season. One of only five drivers to earn a podium result in eighteen overall podium places this season, Alder is a threat for the overall series championship and accompanying Honda scholarship.

Alder explained, “The biggest thing we have going as a team is that all three of us are fast and at the front of the field. We have all scored podium finishes and we have all contributed points towards the Team Championship. We feed off one another and help each other until the green flag flies and then it is every man for himself.”

Taking to the famed Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Thursday for a Promoters Test Day, Alder will take part in the one and only official practice on Friday morning before qualifying that afternoon. The first wheel-to-wheel racing of the weekend will take the green flag on Friday before race two and three on the weekend, rounds eight and nine of the series, commence on Sunday.
