Baltimore, MD, July 26, 2022 – After three top five results at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course including one podium, TJ Speed and Drive for Diabetes Awareness backed driver Jason Alder is looking for more this weekend. Set to take on the New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey, Alder is aiming to get back to his winning ways and climb up in the championship point standings.

“It has been a good season to date but I am really focused at turning it up here to finish the year strong,” expressed Alder. “I am currently third in the drivers’ championship and with a good weekend, I can move into second and begin to close the gap to the leader.”

On the strength of four podium results including one win, Alder, a rookie in the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda, currently sits third in the driver point standings. With nine races in the books and nine to go, the season is still young and a charge to finish strong is on the horizon.

Alder added, “I am only twenty-five points out of P2 in the championship so anything can happen there. I am 83 markers behind the leader and while it is a stretch, this is motorsports, and we have all seen stranger things happen.”

Jason Alder will hit the track this Friday for a pair of practice sessions prior to his triple header race weekend. Saturday will be very busy with FR Americas drivers on track in the morning for qualifying before two races that afternoon. Sunday will see race three on the weekend.
