BALTIMORE, MD, November 1, 2021 — With five race wins in the 2021 F4 United States Championship Powered by Honda season, Jason Alder will look to add an FR victory to his resume. Rejoining his Velocity Racing Development (VRD) program this coming weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, Alder will level up and try his hand at the FR Americas Championship Powered by Honda behind the wheel of a VRD prepared Ligier JSF3.

“It was a great season in F4 with five race wins and eight podiums, but now my focus has shifted towards the 2022 season,” explained Alder. “While my plans are not yet set, the FR program is definitely an option, so having the ability to compete in that series this season to see where I stack up is an added bonus.”

Earning the F4 victory at the penultimate round of the championship just over a week ago, and with a third-place result in the series points championship, Alder returns to the facility of his most recent win to see if he can once again stand on the top step of the famed Circuit of the Americas podium.

Alder added, “This is a low stress event, and I will be looking to gain some experience and knowledge for a potential program in the future. I have done some testing in the FR car earlier this year, so for sure I am anxious and eager to see what I can do in a race environment.”

Jason Alder will hit the track over the November 5-7 weekend at the 20-turn, 3.427 mile Circuit of the Americas during the Austin Speedtour in his hopes to be a victor in both F4 and FR in the same season.
